The Lapujade block involves many stakeholders and site-specific constraints, to which we propose to respond with a design strategy developed collectively.
In our view, such issues can no longer be addressed with the tabula rasa attitude that marked urban planning strategies for many years.
We want to be far more attentive and responsive to the context, so as to make the existing site, in all its richness and complexity, a genuine driver of the project.
Our architectural concept does not offer a fixed answer but rather a method, a process, aiming to completely restructure the site and bring all its components – constraints and assets alike – into a new dynamic that brings together a true neighbourhood.
