The Colisée, the Exhibition Centre and the Boulodrome of Grand Chalon each had accessibility issues. Our mission was to bring these three public buildings into compliance while completely renewing their signage.
At the Colisée, we reworked the surroundings and outdoor routes, created lift access to the ticket desks located at +3.50 m (the accessible entrance being shared with the VIP entrance), adapted the reception points and the bar, upgraded the toilets, changing rooms and sports facilities, and improved indoor circulation.
At the Exhibition Centre, the works covered wayfinding from the surroundings to the entrance, ticket desks and reception points, the adaptation of toilets and showers, the creation of an equipped accessible box and an accessible area at the bar.
At the Boulodrome, the entrance was transformed and marked by a new canopy, the toilets and showers were upgraded, the existing concrete staircase was replaced, and a ground-floor meeting room was created to provide use equivalent to the upper floor, in the absence of a lift.
In all three buildings, dedicated signage adapted to people with reduced mobility now makes it easier for all users to find their way.
